Delete your Trackero account
Trackero Free has no account, so there is nothing to delete on our side: uninstalling the app removes your book. You only have an account if you signed in for Pro.
In the app
- Open Trackero and go to You › Your data.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Without the app
Email support@trackero.in from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my Trackero account". We reply when it's done, within 7 days.
What gets deleted
- Your sign-in and email address, and your name if you used Google
- Any billing details saved with your account
- The list of phones using your Pro
- Our record of your purchases, and your usage counts
What stays
- A record that a free trial was used: a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, and your phone's random app id as it is. We keep them only to stop the free trial being taken again. The hash isn't your address in plain text, but anyone who already knows your address could check it against the hash, so we treat this as your data too.
- Tax records of your purchases: any invoice or credit note, and any order waiting for one. They carry the billing name, address and state you gave us, with Google's order number, the product, date and amounts. Indian GST law requires us to keep invoices and credit notes for 72 months from the due date of that year's annual return, and longer if a tax case is open. They aren't tied to your spends or goals, and they don't include your email address.
- Your book on your phone. It was never on our server. Delete it in the app, or by uninstalling.
- Google's own record of what you paid. That's kept by Google Play.
If you pay for Pro
Deleting your account doesn't stop a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play subscriptions. A lifetime purchase stays with your Google account, and comes back if you sign in again.
