Privacy policy
Effective 31 October 2026. Applies to the Trackero Android app and trackero.in.
Trackero is run by Modest Minds Private Limited (CIN U69200TN2026PTC197441), Plot No. 20, Door No. 4, Adithya Nagar, Anand Avenue, Nuthencherry, Madambakkam, Chennai – 600126, Tamil Nadu, India ("we"). Trackero is offered in India. This page says what data Trackero uses, where it goes and what you can do about it.
The short version
- Your book stays on your phone. Your entries, notes, accounts and imported statements are not on our server.
- Free needs no account and sends us nothing about you.
- Pro needs a sign-in and sends what its features need, listed below.
- We never read your SMS, calls, contacts, location, notifications or email. We never connect to your bank.
- We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data for advertising.
On your phone only
Your goals, entries, accounts, plan, checklists and goal pictures are kept in the app's own storage. A bank statement you import is read on the phone, and the file isn't saved. Only the day, amount, direction and description you choose to add are kept in your book.
Backup. If Android backup is on for your phone, your book and goal pictures go to your own Google account. The app allows this only when the backup is encrypted with your screen lock. We can't see it.
Permissions. Microphone, only when you tap to talk. Notifications, for the reminders you set. Start at boot, to keep those reminders. Internet, for the Pro features below.
What leaves your phone, and why
Everything in this table applies only if you use Pro or its free trial, and travels encrypted (HTTPS).
| What | Why | Who handles it | Kept by us? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your email address. If you use Google, also your name and Google account ID | To sign you in and link Pro to you | Supabase; Google for Google sign-in; Resend to send sign-in codes | Yes, until you delete your account |
| A random ID the app makes for each phone | To keep Pro to 2 phones and count limits | Supabase | Yes, until you delete your account, except as described under "After you delete your account" |
| Your purchase token, product, status and end date | To check your purchase with Google | Supabase, Google Play | Yes, until you delete your account |
| Counts of how much you've used (questions, spoken lines, pictures) | To apply the limits | Supabase | Yes, until you delete your account |
| Ask Pebble: your question, and the facts it answers from: your monthly income, spending plan and saving; this month's totals; goal names, costs, percents and dates; pocket money settings | To write Pebble's answer and notes | Anthropic (Claude) | No, it passes straight through |
| Talk: the words the phone heard, and for some lines a recording of your voice | To turn what you said into entries | Sarvam AI, Anthropic | No, it passes straight through |
| Report this answer: if you report one of Pebble's answers, your question, the answer and your reason | So we can check it and make Pebble better | Supabase | Yes, for up to 90 days, or until you delete your account |
| Billing details: if we ask for them before you buy Pro, the name, address, state and country you enter | To put on your invoices | Supabase | Yes, until you change them or delete your account |
| Tax records: for a sale or refund, an invoice or credit note with your billing name, address and state, Google's order number, the product, date and amounts | Because Indian tax law requires these records | Supabase; Google Drive, where the PDFs are saved; our accountant | Yes, for the period the law requires, even if you delete your account. See "After you delete your account" |
| Goal pictures: the words you type to describe a goal. A goal photo only after you see it and tap "Yes, send it": shrunk and re-saved with no location or camera details | To draw your goal's picture | OpenAI | No, it passes straight through |
When you talk, your phone's own Google speech service listens first. For languages with no offline pack on your phone, it uses Google's online service, under Google's terms. Payments go through Google Play. We never see your UPI or card details.
Our server and the services above also handle technical details such as IP addresses and error logs, to run the service and keep it safe.
The services we use
| Service | Where | How long it holds data |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase (our server) | Mumbai, India | As in the table above |
| Anthropic (Claude) | United States | Deleted within 30 days under its API terms; not used to train models |
| OpenAI (pictures) | United States | Up to 30 days for abuse checks under its API terms; not used to train models |
| Sarvam AI (voice) | India | Model training is switched off in our Sarvam account. Sarvam hasn't confirmed to us how long it keeps audio sent for speech-to-text, so it may keep it for a period under its own terms |
| Google (sign-in, Play, speech, Drive) | Worldwide | Under Google's own terms and policy |
| Resend (sign-in emails) | United States | Your email address and delivery logs, under its terms |
These services work on our instructions. So does our accountant, who can see tax records. Some are outside India, so your data can be processed there. We share data only with them, or where the law requires it.
Why we're allowed to use it
We use your data because you chose to: you signed in, tapped a Pro feature, or said yes to sending a photo. You can stop any time by not using the feature, or by deleting your account. Stopping doesn't affect what we did before. We keep tax records because the law requires it.
After you delete your account
You can delete your account in the app (You › Your data › Delete my account) or without the app. Your sign-in, email, name, saved billing details, phone list, purchase records, usage counts and any answers you reported are deleted.
We keep one thing: a record that a free trial was used, made of a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and your phone's random app ID as it is. It's there only to stop the free trial being taken again, and we keep it for as long as we offer one. The hash isn't your address in plain text, but anyone who already knows your address could check it against the hash, so we treat this as your data too. Google keeps its own record of what you paid.
We also keep tax records: any invoice or credit note, and any order waiting for one, each with its own copy of the billing name, address and state you gave us. Indian GST law requires us to keep invoices and credit notes for 72 months from the due date of the annual return for that year, and longer if a tax case is open. We can't erase them early, and they stay in our records, in our Google Drive and with our accountant for that period. They aren't tied to your spends or goals, and they don't include your email address.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you and who has it, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent, and name someone to act for you if you die or can't act yourself. Write to the contact below. Your book is already yours: export it or delete it in the app, under You › Your data.

Security and breaches
Data travels encrypted. Our server lets only its own functions read these tables, and API keys are kept off your phone. No system is perfectly safe. If a breach affects your data, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Trackero is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly hold data about anyone younger. If you think we do, write to us and we'll delete it.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies, and change the date above.
